What we do

Three disciplines. One team.

Most studios pick a lane. We don't — because the best products today are built at the intersection of code, intelligence and physical devices.

Why us

Engineering rigor, MIT discipline.

Innovation Lab is led by engineers trained at the MIT Sloan Management School and the MIT School of Engineering, bringing a rare mix of deep technical craft and business strategy to every build.

Management, innovation and technology — that's what we studied at MIT, and it's the lens we apply to every project: we don't just write code, we design for outcomes: the metric you're trying to move, the round you're trying to close, the customer you're trying to win.

01Strategy-first builds

Every sprint is tied to a business outcome, not just a ticket.

02Senior-only team

No juniors learning on your budget. Every engineer ships production code daily.

03Full-stack ownership

From product strategy to hardware bring-up — one accountable team.

Advanced AI & Machine Learning at the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab

Rōjin AgeTech

Rōjin is an intelligent care ecosystem for seniors — a three-sided marketplace connecting older adults, caregivers and service providers, built around non-invasive sensing, predictive AI and a voice-first companion device. It's an MIT Impact Project Startup, developed through MIT Professional Education's Global Impact Project and MIT DesignX methodology, and our team worked directly out of the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab on the advanced AI and machine learning behind it.

  • A voice-activated companion device that keeps seniors connected — messages, reminders and music — without ever requiring a screen or an app to open.
  • Millimeter-wave and environmental sensors for fall detection, last-activity tracking and emergency voice response, layered with proprietary ML models for predictive, behavioral analysis at the edge.
  • Privacy-first architecture end to end, with an open API that integrates with healthcare systems and existing smart-home devices.
  • Advanced AI and machine learning R&D carried out in collaboration with the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, one of the leading applied-AI research labs in the world.

Contactless health monitoring, born at MIT

Miraitec — MIRAI

MIRAI is a privacy-first monitoring system for seniors living independently, detecting vital signs, falls and room conditions without cameras, microphones or wearables. The project was born inside MIT Sloan's EPGM program, and Innovation Lab led the hardware and software engineering end to end alongside Rojin AgeTech, an MIT Impact Project.

  • Two custom devices designed from scratch: a desk-mounted vital-signs sensor and a ceiling-mounted fall sensor, each built around 60GHz millimeter-wave radar plus an environmental sensor suite (temperature, CO2, VOCs, humidity).
  • Full hardware bring-up: PCB and antenna design, enclosure and industrial design, radar signal processing firmware, and USB-C power delivery — from schematic to a shippable product.
  • A companion iOS/Android monitoring app built on our software stack, turning raw radar signal into heart rate, respiratory rate, SpO2, fall alerts and air-quality trends, with real-time push/SMS/email alerts for caregivers.
  • Contactless by design: no cameras, microphones or wearables, so residents get 24/7 monitoring without giving up their privacy.

Social platform · AI

A social network for open innovation

Bpeople

Bpeople is a social open-innovation platform that connects organizations with people who care about social and ecological impact. We designed and built the full product end to end.

  • Responsive web app on React/Redux, plus a progressive web app and native iOS/Android clients (React Native).
  • Fully serverless backend on Google Cloud Platform, including a text and image moderation API built from our own content-moderation research.
  • Social network connectors (Facebook, Twitter, Google) for one-tap sign-up and sharing.
AI Bootcamp talk at Digital House on computer vision

AI specialist professor at Digital House

Digital House

Great engineering doesn't just ship products — it also has to be passed on. One of our senior engineers stepped into the classroom as a professor in Digital House's in-person Artificial Intelligence program, taking the same computer vision work we build for clients and turning it into a full curriculum for the next generation of AI engineers.

  • Taught face detection and age-estimation end to end — detection, cropping, feature extraction and prediction — using real production pipelines, not toy examples.
  • Opened up the "black box" for students with layer-by-layer CNN activation visualizations, showing exactly how a convolutional network learns to "see" an image.
  • In-person, hands-on format: a full cohort of the AI program, not a one-off talk — the same rigor we bring to client work, taught as a repeatable curriculum.

Mi Espacio Verde — a smart-city tourism experience

Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires

We designed a memorable digital experience for locals and visitors exploring Buenos Aires's green spaces: UX research, prototyping and multi-channel touchpoints for the city's public program.

  • End-to-end UX prototyping across bike, bus, walking and car tours of the city's green network.
  • Multilingual onboarding and an interest-based recommendation flow (art, museums, history, sports).
  • Delivered as a public program for Buenos Aires Ciudad, connecting 14+ green nodes across the city.
How we work

From zero to shipped.

01
Discover

We dig into the problem, the users and the metrics that matter before writing a line of code.

02
Design & Architect

Product, AI and hardware architecture designed together, so nothing gets rebuilt later.

03
Build

Senior engineers ship in weekly increments — always demoable, always production-grade.

04
Scale

We stay in the loop post-launch: performance, cost, and the next roadmap bet.
